How your data is handled

What we store, for how long, how it's encrypted, and what happens when you uninstall.

The app moves store data on your behalf, so it's fair to ask exactly what happens to it.

What is stored

The export and import files you generate, kept for the retention period you choose in Settings.
Job records — what ran, when, and the results — so you have a history.
Connection credentials for migration sources and delivery destinations.

Encryption

TLS for everything in transit.
Encrypted storage at rest for generated files.
Server and platform credentials sealed with AES-256-GCM. They are used server-side and never sent back to your browser.

Deletion

Files expire on your retention setting. Any job and its files can be deleted immediately from the job page. Uninstalling the app removes your shop's data, and the mandatory Shopify privacy webhooks are implemented so deletion requests are honoured automatically.

Protected customer data

Customer and order fields are Protected Customer Data under Shopify's rules. They're processed only to build the file you asked for, handled per Shopify's requirements, and never used for anything else.
