Migrating another store into Shopify

A migration reads your old store, builds a normal SyncifyPro import file, and hands it to the same import pipeline you'd use for a spreadsheet. Nothing is written to Shopify until you review the preview.

Supported sources

• WooCommerce — REST API key and secret from Settings → Advanced → REST API.
• BigCommerce — a Store-level API account token.
• Magento 2 — an integration access token.
• PrestaShop — a Webservice API key (we add /api to your URL ourselves).
• OpenCart — a small read-only bridge file you upload to your store root.

What comes across

• Products with variants, images, prices and stock
• Customers with addresses
• Orders with line items and totals
• Categories, which become Shopify collections
• Coupons, which become discounts

Keeping your SEO

Old product and category URLs rarely match Shopify's. The migration generates a Redirects sheet mapping each old path to its new handle, so existing links and search rankings survive the move. Import it with everything else.

Filters

You don't have to take the whole store. Filter by status, date range or order state to bring across only what matters — useful when the old store has ten years of test data.

Run a small migration first: filter to a handful of products, import, and check how they look in Shopify before moving the catalog.
