Getting started with SyncifyPro
Install the app, run your first export, and understand how files round-trip back into your store.
SyncifyPro turns your Shopify store into spreadsheets you can read, edit and import back. Nothing about it is a black box: what you export is what you edit, and what you edit is what gets written back.
Install
- Open SyncifyPro on the Shopify App Store and click Install.
- Approve the permissions. The app only asks for the scopes it needs to read and write the data types you use.
- You land on the app home, with an Export card and an Import drop-zone.
Your first export
- Click New export.
- Tick the data types you want — start with Products.
- Choose a format. Excel keeps one sheet per data type; CSV gives one file per type inside a ZIP.
- Click Export. The job runs in the background and appears under Activity with a live progress bar.
Large stores switch to Shopify's bulk operations automatically. You don't have to choose — a 200-product export and a 200,000-product export are the same two clicks.
Edit and import back
Open the file in Excel, Google Sheets or any CSV editor. Change the cells you care about, leave the rest alone, and drop the file back on the Import card. Before anything is written you get a preview: how many records were found, how many are valid, and what will be created, updated or skipped.
Where to go next
- Exporting: filters and column control — keep files small and relevant.
- Importing: the Command column — decide per row whether to create, update or delete.
- Scheduling: put a job on repeat and have the file delivered to you.
